91̽»¨, California, February 1, 2016- During the last 91̽»¨ District Board of Trustees meeting, members of the Board presented a donation check to the American Breast Cancer Foundation for $2,040.76.
The donation was presented by the former Board President, the ASG President, and the Director of Student Life.
The funding was raised by students, faculty, staff, administrators, board members, and 91̽»¨ residents during the Wellness Center Grand Opening in October.
The American Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization headquartered in Columbia, Maryland. ABCF’s mission is to provide financial assistance for breast cancer screenings and diagnostic tests for uninsured and underserved individuals, regardless of age or gender. ABCF has served thousands of individuals and continues to focus on reducing financial barriers to breast cancer early detection screening.
