Intermittent outages for campus internet, phones, and online systems (Canvas, My91̽, etc.) are expected this weekend, July 10–12, to enhance network security and reliability. All systems will resume normal operation by Monday morning, July 13.

Eligibility

To be considered for federal financial aid, a student must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Be a U.S. citizen, National or an eligible non-citizen.
  2. Demonstrate financial need.
  3. Be enrolled as a regular student in an eligible program.
  4. Be making satisfactory progress in the selected course of study.
  5. Be in good standing on any Federal Family Educational Loan - Perkins Loan, National Direct Student Loan (NDSL), Stafford Loan (formerly known as Guaranteed Student Loan), or PLUS/SLS Loan at 91̽ College or at any institution previously attended.
  6. Not be in repayment status on any federal grant program.
  7. Not be receiving or planning on receiving financial aid at any other institution while attending 91̽ College.
  8. Be registered with or exempt from Selective Service.
  9. Satisfy the “Ability to Benefit” requirement with one of the following:
    1. High school diploma
    2. GED certificate or pass California Proficiency test
    3. If the student does not have a diploma or equivalent, he/she can still qualify by passing an Ability to Benefit test (ATB) if the student was in attendance at an eligible institution prior to July 1, 2012.
    4. Certificate of completion of a home-study program if the program is recognized by the student’s home state.
    5. A student’s postsecondary school academic transcript if the student has completed a program of at least two years in length that is acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor’s degree.
